December was the most awaited months during the normal times;
When the children would count days and plan their vacation trips,
When the elders would book pilgrimage trip to India and Nepal,
And I used to look forward to a relaxing time after ten months of hectic schedule with diverse learners.
2020! the unprecedented time has altered our very life style:
December now is the most torturous month!
The high school children wishes that they could stay under the blankets instead of attending the lesson
in the ice cold classrooms.
The elders never leave the hearth at home.
The teachers are exhausted as this academic session would drag on for 14 months instead;
And the dread of ice cold classrooms in the months of January and February is equally depressing!
And I as a silent spectator can only pray for everyone of us to endure this storm and safely get to the other shore!
